2021 Chevrolet Malibu W/ Driver Confidemce Pkg I & II, 1 Owner, 83K Hi-Way Miles - Hi-way miles do not put anywhere near the wear and tear on a vehicle as does your typical city/hi-way miles combined. You save a bundle because the miles are high for the year, but since they are not wearing type (city) miles, you don't have the wear and tear that you would normally have. I have had a Subaru mechanic tell me that he felt that hi-way miles only puts on 20% of the wear and tear that your typical city/hi-way miles normally put on a vehicle. In other words,100k miles on the hi-way is like putting 20k miles on a vehicle driving mainly in the city. It is all the stop and go driving that puts on the majority of the wear and tear on a vehicle.
